Osteoarthritis has been helped considerably since acupuncture
treatments. My hip pain has gone from 12½ to ½ on a 1 to 10 scale.
Someday I will be completely pain free. I should have started
acupuncture treatments sooner.

suffered from migraines for years and even though acupuncture
hasn't cured me of them, the frequency and severity of the attacks have
diminished significantly. Before I went to The
Acupuncture Clinic I had been to almost every specialist in the world
and found no relief. These specialists took thousands of dollars and
would either say that they couldn't do anything or my predicament was
imaginary. My health deteriorated to the point that it seemed to

Clinic after exhausting all other methods of medications and physical
therapy for a closed head injury and dislocated jaw. After major surgery
on my TMJ joint and jaw, I lived two years without being able to open my
mouth more than four centimeters and living on pastries and milk. I am
now able to open my jaw to 28 centimeters and I have reduced the amount
of pain medications. I feel like I did not begin to heal until I came to
The Acupuncture Clinic. The Acupuncture Clinic was
recommended to help reduce chronic pain and muscle spasms and to try and
reduce the amount of pain medications I was taking. I still have good
days and bad days, but I know that without acupuncture I would not have
advanced to where I am today. Dr. Skelton is a wonderful person. Through
him I have learned relaxation and learned how to cope better with my
pain. I don't know where I would be today without the acupuncture and
encouragement I get from Dr. Skelton. Everyone is so kind and caring
from the doctor to the receptionist. Dr. Skelton is open to trying what
is best for the patient. He listens and lets the patient be proactive in
their care. He has helped me tremendously and I have suffered from
migraine headaches and allergies for over 20 years. The Acupuncture Clinic should
be on everyone's health list. It reduces and eliminates pain. It is a
relaxing experience. The staff is great. When I experienced back pain
from muscle spasms, I tried lots of treatments including traditional
medicine, chiropractic, massage and deep-tissue realignment. Finally
someone suggested acupuncture, and it work where none of the above did.
I've found it helpful for quitting smoking as well as sinus problems. Approximately 12 years ago, my
family physician suggested that I visit Dr. Bill Skelton to see if he
could relieve my headaches and treat allergy and sinus problems. Dr.
Skelton's treatments were effective; however, I do continue on a
maintenance program for control. Otherwise, I have problems. I recommend
acupuncture to anyone who has allergies, chronic pain, immune system&/or
sinus problems. I'm sure acupuncture is effective in many other ways but
I have "first-hand" knowledge of these. After suffering with intense
back pain for almost a year, I decided to try acupuncture at the
suggestion of a friend. My very first visit provided amazing relief. The
day after my first treatment was the first time in eight months that I
could put my socks on without lying on a bed. I was not intellectually
predisposed to accept positive results from acupuncture and was truly
surprised, astonished and pleased. After trying every
conventional therapy suggested to help my balance and pain problems and
getting no relief, I decided to try acupuncture. It has helped with both
problems and others I have used it for. I encourage everyone I know with
chronic pain to try it and have had only positive results whenever I get
treatment. I have
had chronic neck and back pain for 20 years. Treatment has consisted of
various options including chiropractic care, orthopedic care and
physical therapy. I have used pain medications as well as muscle
relaxants. My chiropractor sent me here and my level of comfort and
range of motion has improved. It seems to last longer than massage
therapy. I would recommend this as a treatment option because it works. I have suffered with chronic
migraine headaches for years. I have tried everything and nothing seemed
to help. Acupuncture has decreased the number and severity of my
headaches This is
my second experience with acupuncture and it appears to be working well
for tendonitis in my elbow thanks to you. I am very excited to be pain
free and have a life again. |
